Privacy
OpenHealth shows public provider records. You can use it free without an account.
Using the site
Compound Labs runs OpenHealth. The site does not ask for a login, payment details or medical records.
The landing page and these guides do not send search terms or saved lists to a server. The landing demonstrations run in the browser.
Search and location
The search reads public data files or the configured public-record service. The service receives search terms, city, state, and selected filters. Search terms and selected filters also appear in the page URL. Browser history and hosting logs can record those values.
If you choose to use your location, your browser asks for permission to read coordinates. The coordinates can appear in the search URL.
Browser storage
Your browser stores saved doctor identifiers in local storage. It stores comparison selections in local and session storage. Clearing site data removes these selections. The selections do not sync through an account.
Your browser may cache site files. You can remove cached files and any saved site data through your browser’s site settings.
Page and data requests
Your browser requests pages, styles, scripts, fonts, and images from the site host. It requests prepared public records from this site. When hosted search is configured, it also requests records from that service.
The site host receives network requests, including your IP address. Hosting logs follow the host’s retention settings. This site does not set a separate retention period for those logs.
Analytics
The site includes no analytics SDK, advertising tracker or session replay script.
Links and email
External source links take you to the publisher’s website. That website receives your visit under its own privacy practices.
Contact links open an email addressed to support@thecompound.tech in your mail app. If you send it, Compound Labs receives the message and the contact details you include. Send public record links and a description of the issue. Keep private medical information out of the message.
Questions and changes
Email support@thecompound.tech with questions about this page. This policy changes when the site’s data practices change.
